Narrative
What drew you to create this film?
I had a great opportunity to film at a hospital which was about to close in New York City. I felt the film needed to be within the horror genre. But I wasn’t interested in creating something predictable within that genre. I wanted to explore a sort of existential crisis.
What does filmmaking mean to you?
Filmmaking means for me truth. Your truth. Whatever it may be. Explore your fears and desires. I mean it’s all valid.
What advice would you give students or beginners that want to make films?
Buckle up because it won’t always be easy and there will be times when you’ll question what you’re doing and why you are doing it. If you can live through that and still believe in the dream then nothing can crush you.
