We had so many terrific entries. For those who did not have a project selected in 2019 we can only say thank you for entering and please try again.
So many factors go into selecting the films. The fest slate and sessions do change every year so if you did not make it in this year, please take a chance on us again if you can. If we could program and host a week long (or more) fest we easily could have, especially with this year’s submissions. According to FilmFreeway we had 635 entries in 2019, by far our largest pool of films ever.
Our thanks to all of the filmmakers who entered and our congratulations to those that will be screening their films in September! You should have been notified of your films official status this week and an official e-mail with the 2019 MWFF laurels will be going out to the filmmakers in the coming week.
