MWFF opening night event tickets now on sale!

Great news! Tickets for the opening night event of the 2014 Mosaic World Film Festival are now available!

This is a special night to meet some of the filmmakers screening their work over the course of the MWFF weekend.

Cocktails and our red carpet arrival event starts at 5:30 and goes until 7:00. At 7:00 we will screen our 2014 “Mosaic Spotlight Award” winning film “Warren” (http://www.warrenthemovie.com/) which is written, directed, and starring Alex Beh.

Warren

Set in and around the improv comedy scene in Chicago, the film follows its ambling title character (played by writer/director Beh), a late-20something comedian who moonlights as a barista. He’s caught in the polar vortex between his divorcing parents (played by great character actors John Heard and Jean Smart). Meanwhile, an old flame (Sarah Habel), now engaged, shows up in town. Over the course of a few days, Warren and his ex Emma reconnect, and Warren begins to find his own groove.

Alex and one of the film’s producers Orian Williams will be in attendance for this event! They will be a part of an audience Q&A panel immediately following the screening hosted by Mosaic Film Project founder Jerry LaBuy.

The event will wrap-up with the awarding of the “Mosaic Spotlight Award” for independent filmmaking to Alex and the talented cast and crew of “Warren.”

More info on this and the entire fest is available at our 2014 MWFF attend page and our facebook event page.

Tickets for this event and screening are $10.00. Capacity is limited to 300 so make sure to purchase yours today!
